Back in the mid-1900s, things seemed pretty stable and paying attention to a few weak signals could put you a long way ahead.
Today, we live in a completely different era, with real-time communications, global connectivity, and the intersection of multiple cultures (organizational, social, and professional). There’s not much point in focusing on a few weak signals if you don’t capture the overall pattern that’s emerging and in which the weak signals play a crucial role.
